Drug addiction is a complex brain disease. It is c h a r a c t e r i z e d b y co m p u l s i v e , a t t i m e s uncontrollable, drug craving, seeking, and use that persist even in the face of extremely negative consequences. Drug seeking becomes compulsive, in large part as a result of the e?ects of prolonged drug use on brain functioning and, thus, on behavior. For many people, drug addiction becomes chronic, with relapses possible even after long periods of abstinence.

he youth of today are addicted to a variety of drugs, which ruin their physical, psychological and mental health. Particularly in tribal Community many youths are a?ected with this addiction. Many a times due to insensitive handling of the drug addicts by their respective families it leads to broken homes. People with addiction and substance users need to be handled carefully.
